House Updates - a monthly report

Sometimes you don't feel like you've made any progress on your house-project-to-do-list.  This has certainly felt true for us, but when I look back, I see how much we have accomplished.  The real problem is that new items are continually added to the list.  So for my benefit, here is a recap of the past year in house projects... June I installed some much needed hooks in the laundry room to hold cleaning tools and simply get things off the floor.  I was tired of grabbing for one thing, then ultimately dealing with an avalanche of items.  Someday it would be great to redo the upper cabinets and add some open shelving above the machines, but everything mostly functions, so we'll leave it be. We painted the kitchen ceiling white and painted some shelves and a table set for Emory's room green.  Green is currently his favorite color.  He once mentioned gold, but I didn't let that one stick and we bought the green paint before he could think any fu...
