It turns out that trying to be both parent and teacher is tough, like really tough. When you're isolated from everyone else and spend A.L.L. D.A.Y. E.V.E.R.Y. D.A.Y. with your family, it is difficult to focus on various things. We have also discovered that keeping to a schedule has been important for anxiety, but that we need to build in time to process all the feels that arise and fall on a daily basis. This all means that we are trying to be flexible and creative. This also means that as we each try to do our best, we will try to be understanding with one another.

Emory loves to learn

Emory has had a great year at his Pre-K preschool.  We have loved Ms. Tina and Ms. Marilyn!  His confidence has grown, he is excited to read, and he loves to ask us math questions like, "What's plus three plus three?"  Emory has grown and matured a lot over the past year.  It's crazy that he is headed to kindergarten in the fall!
